Forms |
|
Question: |
I'm designing my web site with FrontPage 2000. Forms are not integrating well on my web site. I'm not certain if it is a problem with the forms I've created or a server problem. What could be wrong? |
|
Answer: |
Although IntelliWebs does offer FrontPage server extensions, they are not automatically applied and may not be configured for your domain. Click on the hyperlink to complete a 'Technical Support Request Form' to request that server extensions be applied to your domain. |

Forms |
|
Question: |
Form results are being sent to an email address. I want to send a copy of the form to a second address. Can that be done? |
|
Answer: |
It can be done through email but FrontPage does not permit multiple addresses in the 'mail to:' field of forms. The best way to accomplish this is to create a mailbox for the form to respond to, ie: info@domain.com and carbon copy the mailbox to another mailbox. You may access your domain's mail administrator's console by going to our website at www.IntelliWebs.com or by clicking on the hyperlink below. |

I'm using FrontPage to design my website and wish to use it's publishing feature to upload to your server. |
|
Answer: |
Ftp access is automatically provided to all domains hosted on our servers, however the FrontPage server extensions are not. Please complete a 'Technical Support Request Form' to request your user name and password for ftp access for either direct ftp access or FrontPage publishing rights. |

Email |
|
Question: |
I'm setting up my mail accounts in my mail program but the user name and password combination doesn't seem to work. What could be wrong? |
|
Answer: |
The user name must include the domain name. For example; if your user name is 'Bob' and your domain name is 'mycompany.com' then your user name would be 'bob@mycompany.com'. Our mail server also requires authentication so make certain that the 'My Server Requires Authentication' box under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' section is checked. Publishing |
|
Question: |
I start FrontPage and load the page I want to update. I click 'file', 'save as' but the program never asks me for my user name or password and the page doesn't update. What am I doing wrong? |
|
Answer: |
After opening your web, click 'File', 'Publish Web'. In the 'Specify the location to publish your web to:' enter 'http://www.yourdomainname.com' then click 'Publish'. You normally will not be asked for a user name and password when publishing your pages using http but will be asked when using ftp. If you still have problems, please complete a technical support request form by clicking on the hyperlink below. |
